The main event of CS EXPO 2023 V2.0 will showcase student projects over two days to a group of panelists composed of faculty members and industry professionals. Awards will be given for exceptional research and innovation. Current tech trends will be discussed by industry leaders.

Dr. Shaneth C. Ambat, the Computer Science Program Director at FEU Institute of Technology, boasts a robust academic background, including a Bachelor's and Master's in Computer Science from AMA University-Makati City, and a Ph.D. in Engineering majoring in Information Technology from Hannam University, South Korea. With over 25 years in academia and a decade as a program head and dean, she's significantly shaped curriculum delivery in various HEIs. Notable roles include being a founding Board of Trustees member for the Council of Deans of Information Technology Education – INC., NCR, and serving as a paper reviewer for national and international publications. Her career spans roles from faculty at Philippine Christian University to leadership positions at Cavite State University and St. Dominic College of Asia. Dr. Ambat's commitment to research and teaching aligns with her current role in overseeing 367 members as a Board of Trustees member for the Council of Deans for ITE-NCR, focusing on emerging trends in IT and computing.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Sherwin Pelayo is the Executive Director and a founding board member of the Analytics Association of the Philippines which is the country’s National Industry Board for Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. As Executive Director, he executes AAP’s nationwide programs in, among others, education, labor market research, and policies and standards, in support of AAP’s mission of building a healthy and vibrant Philippines Analytics and Artificial Intelligence sector through the forging of relations of trust with the government, academic and learning institutions, and the private sector. He continuously shares this advocacy to learners of Analytics most notably with DOST’s Project SPARTA and the University of Asia and the Pacific’s Master’s in Applied Business Analytics program.
